KUALA LUMPUR (April 27): RHB Bank Bhd has confirmed that one of its employees at its Simpang Tiga Branch, in Kuching tested positive for Covid-19.
In a statement, the bank said the employee was confirmed Covid-19 positive on April 25 and is currently under quarantine.
RHB Bank said the affected branch has been temporarily closed from March 25 and will remain closed until the end of the Movement Control Order period.
It said deep cleaning and sanitisation activities of the Branch will be carried out in accordance with Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia guidelines.
“As an added precaution, employees who had come into close contact with the affected employee have been placed on home-quarantine.
“We have taken all necessary precautionary measures to ensure the health and safety of our customers, employees and the community,” said RHB.
