KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 1): RHB Bank Cambodia Plc (RHB Cambodia) has launched its first RHB Premier Banking Centre at the RHB head office in Phnom Penh.

In a statement today, RHB Bank said its Premier Banking services are exclusively designed to reward affluent customers with special privileges, offering an added touch of prestige and sophistication in serving their financial needs.

The bank said with the launch of the new RHB Premier Banking Centre, RHB Cambodia aims to achieve up to 10% conversion to Premier Banking customers from its current base of 35,000 customers.

RHB Cambodia chief executive officer (CEO) and executive director Wong Kee Poh said the exclusive lounge is the bank’s first dedicated centre in Cambodia, and the bank aims to add new premier lounges in the future.

“We see great opportunities in the affluent segment in Cambodia, and aim to grow this business by 30% by 2022 in line with growing affluence among Cambodians,” Wong said. 

He said eligible customers are also entitled to Lounge and Travel privileges, which include unlimited access to all RHB Premier Banking lounges in Malaysia and Singapore, as well as airport lounge access within Asean countries.

Coinciding with the launch, RHB Premier Banking customers also stand a chance to win one of four luxury watches worth US$15,000 (RM61,207.50) each and 20 units of iPad mini in the RHB Premier Banking current account deposit campaign that runs from Nov 27, 2020 to June 30, 2021.

At 10.08am today, RHB was 2.14% or 11 sen higher at RM5.26, valuing the stock at RM21.09 billion.
