KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 2): Genting Bhd-owned Resorts World Las Vegas will be issuing interview invitations to potential employees for 6,000 jobs at the hotel cum casino in the next few days, according to an online portal.

Resorts World Las Vegas executive director Lori Calderon said on LinkedIn this week that company leaders "will begin the process of extending invitations to interview this upcoming week", casino.org reported.

Calderon is executive director of talent acquisition and community engagement at Resorts World Las Vegas, according to her LinkedIn profile.

The resort made an announcement on its website last month, stating that it was accepting job applications online for various positions the resort was looking to fill in the coming months leading up to its summer 2021 debut.

Jobs range from entry- to management-level positions in multiple resort departments including hotel operations, food and beverage, casino, nightlife, finance and more.

The property is located on The Strip in Las Vegas, the United States. It is the first property to be built in the area, known for its resort hotels and casinos, in over a decade, according to the group.
