KUALA LUMPUR (April 13): Reservoir Link Energy Bhd rose as much as 6.5 sen or 8.23% to 85.5 sen this morning after the Sarawak-based firm said it had secured a three-year contract from Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd for the provision of well leak repair equipment and services.

At 10.51am, the counter had pared some gains at 81 sen, still up two sen or 2.53%.

The counter had seen 18.4 million shares traded so far.

In a bourse filing yesterday, Reservoir Link Energy said its wholly-owned unit Reservoir Link Sdn Bhd had received a letter of award for the provision of well leak repair equipment and services from Petronas Carigali on March 22.

It said the contract ends on March 22, 2024. It is the first well leak contract announced by the company this year.

The scope of works under the contract includes engineering consultancy on well leak issues, provision of well leak rectification services including personnel, product and equipment on a "call-out" basis, application of new technology, and provision of downhole sealant.
