KUALA LUMPUR (May 15): Paramount Property Development Sdn Bhd is not afraid to do the unconventional with its latest project ⁠— the 20-storey The Atrium ⁠— which was formerly known as Ambassador Row Hotel Suites by Lanson Place in Jalan Ampang here.

It decided to keep the structure, but replace the mechanical and electrical systems and piping, the lift system and the façade. Chief executive officer (property division) Chee Siew Pin — who recently took the helm at the company — said such a move helps reduce the carbon footprint. 

The Atrium, which has a gross development value of RM212 million, offers 241 serviced apartments on a 0.95-acre (0.38-hectare) plot. It is also competitively priced from RM1,010 psf.
