* As much as 50mm rainfall likely in some areas of Heilongjiang, Liaoning, Shandong and Jiangsu

* NOTE: Heavy rain may be adverse for corn, soy crops

* NOTE: Heilongjiang is the country’s top corn and soy area; Shandong is a key wheat producer

* Widespread rain seen in parts of Kerala for five days from Thursday, according to India Meteorological Department
