KUALA LUMPUR (June 23): PUC Founder (MSC) Bhd rose as much as 1.5 sen to 14.5 sen after the firm announced it signed a renewable energy power purchase agreement with Tenaga Nasional Bhd yesterday.
At 9.16am today, PUC Founder (fundamental: 1.85; valuation: 1.1) pared gains at 14 sen with 13.11 million shares traded, making it the most actively-traded counter across the bourse.
At 9:34am, PUC Founder saw some 15 million shares done to become the fourth most-active entity.
Yesterday, PUC Founder said it would sell electricity generated from its one-megawatt solar power plant in Sungai Petani, Kedah to state-controlled utility Tenaga (fundamental: 1.3; valuation: 1.8) for 21 years.
Under the deal, Tenaga will purchase electricity from PUC Founder at a rate of RM1.0355 per kilowatt hour.
