KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 2): Prestariang Bhd shares rose 5.04% in active trade at mid-morning today following a positive technical outlook on the stock.

At 10.21am, Prestariang rose 3 sen to 62.5 sen with 32.46 million shares traded.

RHB Retail Research said Prestariang Bhd may rebound higher after it continued holding above the 40 sen support.

In a trading stocks note today, the research house said yesterday's white candle sent the stock to its two-week high, thereby enhancing the bullish sentiment.

"A bullish bias may appear above the 55 sen level, with an exit set below the 40 sen threshold.

"Towards the upside, the near-term resistance is at 72.5 sen. This is followed by the 85 sen level," it said.
