KUALA LUMPUR: Prasarana Malaysia Bhd said three of its officers are under investigation by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), and has pledged to give its full cooperation to the anti-graft body in the matter.

“Prasarana is a corporate body that always upholds integrity principles in its dealings and always reminds its employees to carry out their duties with transparency, trust and sincerity.

“Hence, if we find there are projects that contain elements that are not transparent or have deviated from our standard operating procedure, we will contact the MACC chief integrity officer who is placed in Prasarana for advice and cooperation, so that the matter can be studied further,” Prasarana president and chief executive officer Datuk Mohamed Hazlan Mohamed Hussain said in a statement yesterday.

On that note, he said, Prasarana “will cooperate fully with the MACC in its investigation and has issued a circular to staff members to give their full cooperation on this matter”.

The MACC, meanwhile, has declined to comment on the matter.

“Thank you for your concern. The MACC will not release any statements until the investigation is completed. Thank you,” a spokesperson said when contacted.
