(April 10): Police were tracing individuals from among civil servants suspected to be involved in terrorism, Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar told Bernama today.

The Inspector-General of Police (IGP) was quoted as saying that the police were working closely with the Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) after its personnel were also found to be linked to Isis.

"The police are cooperating closely with the MAF to identify Isis elements in the MAF and government departments, and will act against the suspects.

"We are monitoring on Isis, those members who have returned from Syria and those in this country. The police are monitoring their movements and activities. We believe they are up to no good."

The police have arrested 92 Malaysians suspected to have been involved in Isis activities since February 2013.
