KUALA LUMPUR (April 4): Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad is slated to table the first reading of amendments Bill to the Constitution at Dewan Rakyat today, an order paper shows.

According to the order paper, there is only one public business presentation of government bill today, which is the Constitution (Amendment) Bill 2019.

No details on the amendments to be made yet, but according to Pakatan Harapan government's election manifesto, promises that require constitution amendments include limiting the Prime Minister's tenure to two terms, and restoring Sabah and Sarawak status as partner to the Peninsula instead of ordinary state.
