KUALA LUMPUR: PJBumi Bhd’s unit, PJBumi Construction Sdn Bhd, has bagged an RM18.7 million contract to refurbish 84 units of residential and commercial buildings, as well as infrastructure, in Chenor, Pahang.

The contract was awarded by Salam Properties Sdn Bhd, the engineering and construction services group said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday. It said the contract’s tenure is for 36 months from the date of site possession.

“Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the board opined that the contract will contribute positively to the earnings per share and future earnings of PJBumi Group,” according to its Bursa filing.

PJBumi shares last settled on Feb 3 at 11 sen, with a market capitalisation of RM5.5 million.
