Pertama Digital CEO resigns after three-month stint

KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 5): Pertama Digital Bhd’s CEO Aiza Azreen Ahmad has resigned from her post after a three-month stint at the Government technology group, citing her pursuit of “other opportunities”.

Aiza was appointed as CEO of the group, previously known as Sinotop Holdings Bhd, on Nov 25, 2020.

She held various leadership positions in Malaysia and Australia prior to joining Pertama Digital, including in digital services, fintech, banking, software development and investment management.

Aiza previously served as group strategy officer at SME Bank, as well as director of strategic development at Axiata Group Bhd-owned e-wallet firm Boost, where she was responsible for business development and client management.

Pertama Digital’s share price rose one sen or 2.6% to close at 39 sen, giving it a market capitalisation of RM169.01 million.
