STAYING in tonight? Catch the first instalment of the X-Men movies, in which Wolverine and Rogue enter the conflict between professor Xavier’s X-Men and Magneto’s Brotherhood of Mutants. The film follows the professor as he seeks to stop Magneto from mutating world leaders at a United Nations summit. But the fight isn’t easy, as the characters deal with issues both on a personal level and in the team. However, they have to overcome these problems to be able to work together as a unit. The movie airs at 10pm tonight on Channel FOX Movies Premium HD (Astro channel 413).

DO some good for society and have fun at the same time at the comedy showcase, Wild Life, tonight. The performance is a collaboration between local comedians and the Malaysia World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). It has humanitarian undertones as comedians Captain Khalid, Gajen Nad, Kavin Jay and Papi Zak embark on a mission to save the Malayan tigers from extinction. The show will start at 8.30pm tonight and will take place at Twentyone Tables Terrace, 3rd floor, Bangsar Shopping Centre, 285 Jalan Maarof, KL. Tickets can be purchased online at www.tix.my for RM37, or at the event itself for RM39 each. All proceeds will be channelled to WWF’s tiger conservation campaign.
