KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 13): Perdana Petroleum Bhd has secured a contract worth RM16.195 million from ROC Oil (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd to provide one platform supply vessel and two anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessels.

The vessels are for Phase 2 of the D35 Drilling Campaign Offshore Sarawak, Perdana Petroleum said in a stock exchange filing. The value of the 380-day contract includes a 30-day extension option.

The company said the contract, which commenced on Sept 20, is expected to contribute positively to its earnings and net assets for the financial years ending Dec 31, 2018 (FY18) and 2019 (FY19).

Shares in Perdana Petroleum slid one sen or 3.45% to close at 28 sen today, valuing the company at RM217.97 million.
