KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 9): Pentamaster Corp Bhd chief executive officer Tan Boon Teik has disposed of 2.91% of his stake in the semiconductor equipment manufacturer since July.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the group said Tan has disposed of another 1.33 million shares or a 1% stake via off market for 36.5 sen apiece, which was almost 7% below the closing price of 39 sen.

According to previous filings to the exchange, Tan had on July 8 and Aug 13 disposed of 1.01 million shares (0.76%) and 1.53 million shares (1.15%) respectively. The buyer of these shares was not disclosed.

Tan currently still owns 16.28 million shares or a 12.22% stake in Pentamaster.

Tan is brother-in-law to the group’s executive chairman Chuah Choon Bin, who in turn owns over 23% in Pentamaster.

Pentamaster shares closed up 3.5 sen at 39 sen today, giving it a market capitalisation of RM51.96 million.
