KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 2): Pensonic Holdings Bhd executive director Tan Sri Tan King Tai has ceased to be a substantial shareholder of the electrical appliance maker, after disposing of 361,200 shares.

According to Pensonic's filing with Bursa Malaysia today, Tan had disposed of the shares at 58.6 sen apiece on Oct 30.

Following the disposal, Tan now holds a direct 4.865% stake and an indirect 0.793% stake in Pensonic.

Tan emerged as a substantial shareholder in Pensonic on Nov 25 last year, after he acquired 491,000 shares, bringing his direct stake to 5.14% and indirect stake to 2.24%.

As at 4.58pm, Pensonic shares were traded up 5.93% or 3.5 sen to 62.5 sen, with 1.71 million shares changing hands, for a market capitalisation of RM81.04 million.
