KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 10): Parlo Bhd said its main operating subsidiary has launched an online platform, T-Broker Marketplace, to help travel agents sell the group's services.

The group said the business-to-business (B2B) platform launched by Parlo Tours Sdn Bhd is an integrated distribution channel that is open to all existing and new tour agents who are interested in carrying its products.

T-Broker Marketplace also offers offline-to-online services, allowing agents who subscribe to the platform to see inventory in real time, thus easing the process of taking inventory items off Parlo Tours, the group added in a statement.

Parlo group chief executive officer Dani Yap said agents can access the platform at any time of the day to check tour packages, special deals or travel services offered by the group and its travel partners.

"With T-Broker Marketplace, we can extend our types of offerings to all agents such as travel insurance, FIT packages components and etc.

"This B2B platform will make it faster compared to the old way of calling up the office and then having to check manually. There are also better deals that can be found on the platform and agents can serve their clients more efficiently," said Yap.

He added that the group is targeting at least 10% growth from distribution networks through T-Broker Marketplace.

Parlo derives revenue mainly from group inclusive tours, while other products and services it offers include affordable group tours, free independent travellers and tourists' services, and retail ticketing.

In addition, it also offers corporate travel products and services such as meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) and corporate ticketing.
