<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>"This meeting decided to extend the date for this special election committee to present a statement containing recommendations for improvement to the bill to the House no later than Monday, Nov 25, 2019," the motion read.</p></div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Last Sunday, the special select committee's chairman Ramkarpal Singh (PH-Bukit Gelugor) reportedly said the feedback received during the fourth and final session of public hearing on the IPCMC Bill has been positive and encouraging.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The DAP lawmaker also reportedly said the feedback received at hearings conducted in Sarawak, Penang, Johor, and Sabah, beginning Oct 26, comprised supportive views and some suggestions as well as of those that were against the establishment of the IPCMC.</p></div>
