KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 13): Panpages Bhd said today that only two out of seven ordinary resolutions were carried at the company's annual general meeting (AGM). Resolutions which were not carried include Resolution Two on the re-election of chairman YM Tengku Farith Tengku Ahmad Rithauddeen.

In statements on Bursa Malaysia's website, the business-platform specialist said Panpages' shares trade has been halted from 12:10pm today, in conjunction with the AGM outcome announcement. Panpages shares were last traded at 22.5 sen, with 113,100 units transacted.

"Trading in the shares will resume with effect from 2:30pm on Thursday, 13 September 2018. The board of directors of Panpages wishes to announce that the proposed resolutions as set out in the notice of seventeenth annual general meeting (17th AGM) dated 31 July 2018, were put to the shareholders for voting by poll at the 17th AGM held this morning.

"All the ordinary resolutions were lost, except for the ordinary resolutions 4 and 5 in respect to the re-election of Mr Yap Chor How and Mr Yeap Weng Hong as directors of the company respectively, which were carried. The voting results were validated by IA Essential Sdn Bhd, the independent scrutineer appointed by the company," Panpages told Bursa Malaysia.
