<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The contract was awarded to Opcom Engineering Services Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned company of Opcom.</p></div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>This is the second contract announced by the group in its current financial year ending March 31, 2022.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>In August 2021, Opcom secured a RM8.41 million supplementary deal from Telekom Malaysia Bhd to manufacture and deliver fibre optic cables from August 2021 to May 2022.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Shares of Opcom settled up 3.66% or 3.5 sen to 99 sen, giving the group a market capitalisation of RM251.71 million.</p></div>
