KUALA LUMPUR (June 8): Felda Global Ventures Holdings Bhd chairman Tan Sri Isa Samad said he has not yet been summoned by the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission to assist in the latter's investigation in FGV.

Speaking to the media after FGV's Ramadhan event at Menara Felda here today, Isa also said he had no qualms with MACC arriving at FGV's footsteps.

"Let them [MACC] do their job... The internal audit committee will definitely cooperate with MACC; there is no issue with that," Isa said.

Earlier today, MACC sent 25 officers to FGV’s headquarters to speak to the company’s management and possibly obtain more documents to assist with its investigation on claims of graft and power abuse in the company, according to an FGV official.

On Datuk Sri Idris Jala's appointment to oversee the progress of internal investigations, Isa said it is 'a good move' by the federal government, even though he did not want to involve the government, initially.

“We take the decision with an open heart, we are willing to cooperate with him.

Isa said he “has no problem at all” to work alongside Zakaria to assist Idris Jala. "We have worked together for a number of years. Actually, there is no scuffle. The whole thing just followed the normal procedure,” he said.
