KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 2): Lembaga Tabung Angkatan Tentera (LTAT) chief executive Nik Amlizan Mohamed has stepped down from her position as she has completed her two-year tenure on Sept 30, 2020, confirming a report by theedgemarkets.com earlier today.

“Nik Amlizan joined LTAT in October 2018 at a challenging time given the uncertainties surrounding the global economy and capital markets,” said LTAT chairman General (Rtd) Tan Sri Dr Mohd Zahidi Zainuddin, in a statement today.

He noted that Nik Amlizan has set LTAT’s transformation journey in motion and has built a strong foundation for LTAT based on sound organisational structure and corporate governance best practices to ensure that LTAT is on the right track of achieving its long-term aspiration of becoming a world class pension fund for the benefit of its contributors.

Nik Amlizan took the helm at LTAT in September 2018, replacing Tan Sri Lodin Wok Kamaruddin. Prior to joining LTAT, she was the chief investment officer of Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (Diperbadankan) (KWAP), and served the organisation for 11 years.

LTAT said it will announce Nik Amlizan’s successor as chief executive in due course.

In the interim, the board has entrusted the duties of the chief executive and day-to-day operations of LTAT to the pension fund’s chief investment officer Mohd Haniz Mohd Nazlan.
