KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 14): Micro LED technology is redefining the future of display innovation, offering an immersive viewing experience in high resolution and in large screen format. Brands are able to uitilise this to create superior customer engagement, whether in corporate, residential or retail settings.

“Micro LED represents the future of display innovation. Samsung is leading the way in Micro LED adoption in Southeast Asia and Oceania with our flagship The Wall series,” said Leslie Goh, head of regional display solutions in Southeast Asia and Oceania of Samsung Electronics Co Ltd.

Samsung Electronics launched the Wall-All-In-One and The Wall IWB series at the Samsung Display Tech Summit 2022, held in Bangkok, Thailand on Sept 13. Both utilise Samsung’s cutting-edge Micro LED display.

Micro LEDs are able to transform the existing concept of the LED screen. Samsung has been a pioneer of Micro LED displays and launched The Wall in 2018. It was then the world’s first consumer modular Micro LED 146-inch display.

The Wall series continues to stand apart, as it is laced with a flurry of technology. The Wall delivers on optimal picture quality with artificial intelligence (AI) optimised visuals, as well as advanced picture refinement. It is also equipped with the black seal technology which enhances depth and detail. Furthermore, it has blue light eye protection with electromagnetic wave minimisation to bolster its safety.

In today’s hybrid world where people work, play and live in both digital and physical realms, Samsung’s products which include the Odyssey Ark, the new 2022 Samsung Flip Pro and Samsung ViewFinity S8, bridge that gap.

The Odyssey Ark is the world’s first 55-inch 1000R curved gaming monitor, with its 4K display providing an immersive gaming experience. The 1000R curvature allows users to fill their peripheral vision. For a personalised gaming experience, the Odyssey Ark allows gamers to adjust screen size, position and ratio for an optimal gaming setup.

Meanwhile, the Samsung Flip Pro monitor demonstrates the ease at which classrooms and meeting spaces can operate in a hybrid world which is easy to use. It also allows multiple users to collaborate at the same time.

Samsung’s 2022 display solutions have received Energy Star and Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool (EPEAT) energy efficiency certifications. This is done in an effort to reaffirm its commitment to sustainability.

Samsung also designs and builds display solutions that can reduce carbon footprint. For instance, the ViewFinity S8 is manufactured using new material made from recycled ocean-bound plastics.
