KUALA LUMPUR (June 1): Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd’s (MAHB) shares rose as much as 3.48% at mid-morning today, ahead of its debut as a constituent of the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI on June 18.
At 10.35am, the airport operator became the third top gainer across Bursa Malaysia, as it traded 29 sen or 3.48% higher at RM8.62.
At the current share price, a total of 862,500 shares were traded, giving it a market capitalisation of RM14.1 billion.
Over the past 12 months, the counter has fallen some 0.29%.
Yesterday, FTSE Russell and Bursa Malaysia announced the changes to constituents of the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI, following the semi-annual review of the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Index Series.
The constituent changes take effect on June 18 and the next review will take place in December.
