Thai fashion label Lyn has arrived on Malaysian shores — a brand perfect for anyone who is in need of a shoe and accessory fix. Known for its sophistication and versatility, Lyn is opening its doors to customers at Suria KLCC today.

Established in 2001, Lyn — which is part of the Jaspal group — focuses primarily on shoes. With over 30 stores in Thailand, Lyn has achieved massive growth in the retail sector. Over the course of 14 years, the brand has undergone an extensive rebranding process and introduced more items to appeal to customers, and now sells shoes, bags, sunglasses, jewellery, scarves and key chains. Thanks to its expansion, Lyn has grown to become a home-grown success in Thailand with its range of fashion accessories that are on-trend and feature cutting edge-design.

The brand appeals to style-conscious women who value quality and elegance when it comes to their own personal style. The look of the brand has changed over the years, with each collection and season. Despite the changes, Lyn has continued to offer current and innovative designs to shoppers. The logo of the brand exudes minimalism with its sleek packaging and logo.

Kicking off its journey in Kuala Lumpur with its autumn/winter 2015 collection, Lyn’s range of accessories will definitely appeal to a variety of ladies who love to mix and match. The brand takes inspiration from top international fashion labels in terms of design and quality, while keeping affordability in mind. Each season, Lyn works with a shoe and bag expert in order to oversee the high quality of products as well as to drive innovation and be up-to-date with ongoing fashion trends.

With its new store opening in Suria KLCC, it is Lyn’s first step to be part of the AEC (Asean Economic Community) and to becoming an internationally recognised brand. As Suria KLCC is one of Malaysia’s top shopping destinations, this is the perfect opportunity for Lyn to showcase itself. With the boutique’s great location and its lovely designs, Lyn is primed for Malaysians to discover and experience this label. The future looks bright for Lyn, and the Jaspal group, with hopefully more store openings in Malaysia and across the region.

Autumn/winter 2015

Lyn takes on a romantic sensibility this season with its boho-chic inspired collection. The new range, which is called Folktale, has a distinctly bohemian vibe that takes inspiration from hippie and carefree styles made famous by style icons such as Sienna Miller and Kate Moss. The casualness of the style makes it easy for anyone to individually accessorise thanks to its use of bold and unique patterns.

The free spirited mood of the collection is captured by the use of art-inspired handmade crafts, big embellishments and printed materials. Lyn cleverly reimagines the concept of 70s boho-chic with this range by giving it a modern interpretation thanks to its use of distinctive details. The Baroque element, such as the birds and distinct colours further enhance the aesthetic of the collection.  Thanks to this reinterpretation, the collection easily fits into any city girl’s urban wardrobe while still maintaining its unique aesthetic.

Best worn with maxi dresses and floral skirts, the accessories from the collection bring to mind carefree, light-hearted memories.  The accessories from this collection are made from eco-friendly leather and fabrics, all of which are of high quality and finely detailed. The collection is accentuated with printed materials, colourful embroidery and is decorated with jewels and metals.

Lyn’s new boutique is located at C62, Concourse, Suria KLCC. Visit www.lynshoes.com for more.
