(May 7): Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak has said that those attending Pakatan Harapan's ceramahs were DAP supporters.

"If we see, the Opposition ceramahs are in towns and those present are not Malays. Most of them are DAP supporters," he said during a live interview on TV3 tonight, Malaysiakini reported.

Najib also reiterated his claim that Pakatan Harapan had sent in busloads of their supporters from outside the areas where the ceramahs were held.

"That is why I said, at my gatherings, I don't need big crowds... I’d rather have 10,000 locals than 20,000 people who are from outside," he said.

In the interview, Najib also stressed that BN's support remains intact.

"I see this from the places I visit, the reports I get and also the visits done by my deputy and senior ministers. I see the real situation.

"This is not the social media game. This is the reality on the ground. Our political base is still strong.

"We know where our strengths are, and we also know where our weaknesses are," he said.
