KUALA LUMPUR (April 1): Konsortium Transnasional Bhd's (KTB) major shareholder Tan Sri Mohd Nadzmi Mohd Salleh said today he knew of "nothing" that could have contributed to the 129% surge in the bus transportation service provider's share price so far today.

"I haven't even looked at the share price," Mohd Nadzmi, who is also chairman and managing director of KTB, told theedgemarkets.com over telephone.

At Bursa Malaysia, KTB's share price more than doubled after rising as much as 11 sen or 129% to 19.5 sen so far today.

At 10:19am, KTB was traded at 17.5 sen with some 81 million shares changing hands, making it Bursa's more active stock.
