KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 8): MyEG Services Bhd shares and its four different warrants rose in active trade in the morning session today, on recent news that it would work with the Immigration Department to compile and maintain database of foreign workers in the country.

MyEG shares continued its rally, rising by 31 sen or 13.19% to RM2.66 as at 2.41pm. Yesterday, the stock gained 10.1% to close at RM4.70.

This is another all-time high record by taking into account the share dilution due to its 1-for-1 bonus issue with an ex-date today.

MyEG’s four structured warrants – CB, CC, CA and CF also emerged as top gainers on Bursa Malaysia today. The four types of warrants rose by 29.85% to as high as 42.55% as at 2.41pm.

According to news report, the government will require employers to register details of their foreign employees through MyEG’s Foreign Worker Permit Renewal (FWPR) services, starting this year.
