PAGOH (April 20): Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia yesterday announced its candidate line-ups for both the parliamentary and state seats in Johor, in an event held at Kampung Tanjung, Panchor, Pagoh, which was attended by almost 7,000 people from the area.

Led by Pakatan Harapan (PH) Johor's chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, who will be contesting in both the parliament seat of Pagoh and state seat of Gambir, Bersatu will be contesting in 10 parliamentary seats and 18 state seats.

The candidates were announced by PH's chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamed.

Former Prime Minister Dr Mahathir, himself a Bersatu candidate for the parliamentary seat of Langkawi, has been heading ceramahs and political assemblies in the Malay majority areas for the opposition coalition across the country.

Among the top leadership of PH who attended the event are Parti Amanah Negara's president Datuk Mohamad Sabu, Parti Keadilan Rakyat's vice president Nurul Izzah Anwar, Rafizi Ramli and Democratic Action Party's Liew Chin Tong.
