KUALA LUMPUR: A consortium of JGC Corp, PT JGC Indonesia and Muhibbah Engineering (M) Bhd has bagged a RM116 million contract to undertake engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) works for the RGT1 minimum send-out capability improvement project for the existing LNG regasification terminal in Sungai Udang, Melaka.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, Muhibbah Engineering (fundamental: 1.15; valuation: 0.6) said the consortium had accepted the letter of award from Regas Terminal (Sg Udang) Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Petronas Gas Bhd (fundamental: 2.7; valuation: 0.9) for the proposed project.

The contract is for 22 months, commencing from the first quarter of this year and to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2016.
