<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, MRCB said that it accepted the contract from Desaru Peace Holdings Villas Sdn Bhd to undertake the construction works.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The proposed construction involves the building and completion of: “central facilities, conference centre, SPA, carpark with M&amp;E rooms and back of house facilities &amp; related supporting facilities, 46 units of club suite and 2 units of prototype villa”. The latter three excludes structural works.</p></div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The contract also includes the construction of a beach club, a recreational club, remote back of house and overall infrastructure works on several areas in Daerah Kota Tinggi, Johor.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>MRCB said that the construction period for the works is 87 weeks from the date of site possession, which is 3 weeks from today.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>“The project is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings of MRCB,” it added.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>MRCB share price went up six sen or 4.2% higher today at RM1.49, bringing it to a market capitalization of RM2.62 billion.</p></div>
