<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner>KUALA LUMPUR (June 21): Mitrajaya Holdings Bhd has bagged a RM90 million contract to refurbish a hotel in Putrajaya.</div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner>In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, the group said its subsidiary Pembinaan Mitrajaya Sdn Bhd received a letter of award (LoA) from Idaman Putrajaya Sdn Bhd to undertake refurbishment works at the Pullman Putrajaya Lakeside Hotel.</div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner>Mitrajaya said the 38-week contract is expected to positively contribute to the group's earnings and net assets for the current financial year ending Dec 31, 2019 (FY19).</div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner>"The board of directors of MHB (Mitrajaya Holdings) is of the opinion that the acceptance of the contract is in the best interest of MHB," said the group.</div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner>Mitrajaya's share price closed 1.41% or half a sen lower at 35 sen, with 255,000 shares traded, giving the group a market capitalisation of RM315.83 million.</div>
