PETALING JAYA (Oct 8): Mercedes-Benz Malaysia Sdn Bhd said today it achieved record high sales volume at 10,143 cars in the first nine months of 2018, up 16% from the same period last year. The company hopes to hit record high sales in 2018 with the launch of six new models by year-end.
Mercedes-Benz Malaysia vice president of sales and marketing Mark Raine said the company remains the market leader in Malaysia's premium car segment with a 2.5% market share.
"With the new product launches, we are confident we will have organic product growth this year," Raine told reporters here today during Mercedes-Benz Malaysia's third quarter 2018 performance briefing.
According to him, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia's planned launches include a limousine and a compact car, besides three sport-utility vehicles.
