KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 14): Mercedes-Benz Malaysia Sdn Bhd revealed today, five sport utility vehicle (SUV) models as part of its product development here.

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia's vice president Mark Raine said the SUVs, priced from RM328,000 each, comprised the Mercedes-Benz GLC, GLE and GLE Coupé models.

“The premium Mercedes-Benz SUV line-up redefines the standard of the luxury SUV segment in Malaysia.

"With our SUVs, we offer our customers the comfort and luxury [that] you would expect from any Mercedes-Benz, by providing unrivalled interior value perception," Raine said during the SUV launch ceremony here today.

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia is a joint venture between Daimler AG and Cycle & Carriage Bintang Bhd.

At Bursa Malaysia, Cycle & Carriage Bintang shares fell five sen or 1.3% to settle at RM3.75 at 12:30pm. The stock had fallen amid broader market losses.

The FBM KLCI declined 7.59 points to settle at 1,634.95. At RM3.75, Cycle & Carriage Bintang has a market value of RM377.63 million.
