KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 13): Mercedes-Benz Malaysia Commercial Vehicles (MBM CV) has teamed up with its authorised dealer, Hap Seng Commercial Vehicle (HSCV), to introduce its sixth 3S commercial vehicle centre in Telok Gong, Klang, Selangor.
MBM CV and HSCV currently operate 3S centres in Kinrara, Kuantan, Kota Kinabalu, Kuching and Miri.
Mercedes-Benz Malaysia vice-president of commercial vehicles Albert Yee said further expansion plans can be expected in the coming years as MBM CV remains committed to meet the evolving needs of its customers.
"We invest heavily in our dealership networks so we can continue to serve our growing customer base. Consistency is important to us, and our customers can continue to expect trucks they can trust and excellent service quality," he said in a joint statement today.
The new 3S centre in Klang is fully equipped to facilitate sales, service (repair and maintenance) and financial services for both brands — Mercedes-Benz and FUSO commercial vehicles.
"This new commercial vehicle centre is a testament to our commitment of providing first-class products, excellent service quality and comprehensive after-sales expertise in the area of customer-oriented transport solutions to our customers," said Yee.
The new 3S centre is capable of servicing up to 200 commercial vehicles per month and is operated by a dedicated administrative and technical team.
"Hap Seng has enjoyed a partnership of more than 40 years with Mercedes-Benz Malaysia. This partnership has led to the successful expansion of our dealer network nationwide," said Hap Seng Star and Hap Seng Commercial Vehicle chief operating officer Wong Leh Seng.
"We understand the needs of our customers in the haulage industry who depend on the reliability of their vehicles. Our strength lies in the ability to ensure minimal down time, so our customers can maximise the utilisation of their vehicles,” he added.
Last year, MBM CV sold 2,612 vehicles comprising FUSO light duty and heavy duty trucks, as well as Mercedes-Benz trucks and vans.
