KUALA LUMPUR: In response to the Wuhan virus outbreak, Malindo Airways Sdn Bhd (Malindo Air) has announced a temporary suspension of two additional flights between Malaysia and China.

In a statement yesterday, the carrier said the flights involved are: Kota Kinabalu (KK) — Tianjin — Kota Kinabalu, effective Feb 1 to Feb 29, 2020 and Johor Baru (JB) — Guangzhou — Johor Baru, effective Feb 11 to Feb 29, 2020.

Malindo Air had earlier announced a temporary halt of its thrice weekly flight services between KK and Wuhan, effective Jan 24, 2020 till further notice.

It said passengers who hold a valid booking for travel between KK and Tianjin, and between JB and Guangzhou, may contact the airline for further assistance/advice.
