KUALA LUMPUR (June 18): Hybrid airline Malindo Air will launch a new daily service between Ipoh and Singapore from July 14, 2015 using a Boeing 737NG.

To mark the launch, the airline is offering promotional fares from as low as RM128 one-way inclusive of 20kg baggage allowance, in-flight entertainment and light refreshments.

Ticket sales are now open online at www.malindoair.com and at all Malindo Air ticketing counters nationwide.

In a statement today, Malindo Air said the move aligns with its plan to strengthen its presence and to connect to major domestic and international cities.

"This new Ipoh-Singapore sector is a part of the airline’s route expansion and enhancement plan with the delivery of two 737NGs, which will boost the fleet size to a total of 21," it added.

Its fleet currently comprises 10 Boeing aircraft and 11 ATR 72-600s. Malindo Air is expecting a delivery of six more 737NGs by year end.
