KUALA LUMPUR (July 16): Malindo Airways Sdn Bhd will resume its five weekly services to and from Lahore, Pakistan, starting July 18, after Pakistan opened its airspace for all civilian traffic this morning.

It was reported that Pakistan had closed its airspace on Feb 26 after the Indian Air Force struck a Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist training camp in Balakot in retaliation to the Pulwama attack on Feb 14.

In a statement today, Malindo Air said passengers who hold valid tickets to and from Lahore issued on or before July 16, with travelling date from Feb 28 until July 18 are given an option to change their travel dates, subject to certain conditions.
