KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 17): Malaysia's annual inflation rate  increased to 3.0 percent in November from 2.8 percent the previous month, partly because of higher tobacco and transport prices, data from the Statistics Department showed on Wednesday.
    
A Reuters poll of 11 economists had forecast an annual inflation rate of 2.7 percent last month.
