PETALING JAYA (Feb 15): Malaysia’s largest snack company, Mamee Double Decker (M) Sdn Bhd will be moving its Kuala Lumpur office to luxury coworking space Colony@Mutiara Damansara (pictured) in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

The coworking space located at KYM Tower spans 19,000 sq ft and is slated for opening in July this year.

Located a five-minute walk to The Curve shopping mall, the facility is a Grade A, Green Building Index Gold Certified and MSC Status building.

Mamee Double-Decker deputy general manager Pierre Pang told EdgeProp.my that the company is excited with its move into what he considers as one of the best coworking space experiences in Asia.

“We hope this sends a signal to everyone that we are committed about having a great working environment for our team,” said Pang.

Mamee Double-Decker is a 48-year-old food company with brands such as Mister Potato, Mamee Monster and Mamee Chef. Its products are exported to more than 100 countries.

Colony executive director and CEO Timothy Tiah (pictured) said Mamee-Double Decker marks Colony’s second largest deal to date.

Last year, it closed a RM5.6 million anchor tenant deal for Colony @ Eco City in KL. The company has been on an expansion path since it took investment from private equity fund Cornerstone Partners and is expected to set up five locations in KL by June 2019. — EdgeProp.my
