KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 10): Malaysia 's palm oil inventory fell 0.23% to 1.771 million tonnes in July from 1.775 million tonnes in the preceding month as exports rose at a faster pace compared to crude palm oil (CPO) output.
In a statement today, the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) said the country palm oil inventory comprised CPO and processed palm oil.
According to MPOB, palm oil exports rose 21.24% to 1.38 million tonnes from 1.14 million tonnes.
CPO output climbed 3.48% to 1.59 million tonnes from 1.53 million tonnes.
In June, palm oil inventory rose 7.56% to 1.775 million tonnes from 1.65 million tonnes in May.
