KUALA LUMPUR (July 16): Malaysia administered yesterday (July 15) its highest daily number of Covid-19 vaccine doses at 460,158 compared 434,828 a day earlier (July 14), according to the latest updates on Twitter today by the country’s Special Committee for Ensuring Access to Covid-19 Vaccine Supply (JKJAV), citing data from the Covid-19 Immunisation Task Force (CITF).
The CITF said that yesterday's 460,158 vaccine shots comprised 304,807 first doses and 155,351 second doses for recipients.
Among states and federal territories yesterday, Selangor reported the highest daily number of Covid-19 vaccine shots for the first dose at 85,771 followed by Kuala Lumpur's 51,700 jabs, according to the CITF.

For the second dose, Sarawak delivered the highest daily number of vaccine jabs at 53,399 followed by Selangor’s 27,687 shots, the CITF said.
Malaysia achieved yesterday its record high daily number of Covid-19 vaccine doses administered at 460,158 as the nation reported its all-time high daily figure of newly-confirmed Covid-19 cases at 13,215.
Yesterday (July 15), Health Director General Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said in a statement that Malaysia’s daily number of newly-confirmed Covid-19 cases rose to 13,215, from 11,618 on Wednesday (July 14).
Dr Noor Hisham said the country’s daily number of pandemic-linked deaths however fell to 110 yesterday from 118 on Wednesday.
