SINGAPORE (Oct 17): Malaysia has reopened discussions about allowing foreign insurance companies to maintain full ownership of domestic insurers, the Financial Times reports, citing three people with knowledge of the matter.
* “My sense is that Bank Negara is going back to its previous position of not forcing companies to sell down,” said one person with first-hand knowledge of the thinking among central bank officials
