SINGAPORE (April 8): Singapore and Malaysia jointly agree to suspend overlapping port limits and went back to demarcations imposed before Oct. 25 and Dec. 6 last year, Singapore’s government says in a statement.
* Suspension follows recommendations over the overlapping Johor Baru port limits off Tanjung Piai in Malaysia and the Singapore port limits off Tuas
** These recommendations were agreed by Singapore, Malaysian foreign ministers last month to "de-escalate the situation on the ground and pave the way for maritime boundary delimitation”
