KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 15): Malaysia's annual inflation rate in September is expected to decline from the previous month and be below 3 percent since November 2013, a Reuters poll showed.
The median forecast in the poll was 2.6 percent. In August, inflation was at 3.3 percent, reflecting continued price pressures after fuel prices were raised, which caused costs of other items to rise too.
The forecasts for inflation in September from 11 economists in the poll ranged from 2.5 to 2.7 percent.
