SINGAPORE (Oct 28): Singapore’s Energy Market Authority (EMA) and Malaysia’s Energy Commission (EC) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the energy sector today.

The MoU will enable both organisations to enhance their sharing of knowledge and technical cooperation in the planning and reliability of gas and electricity systems. It will also help with regulation of wholesale and retail electricity markets and cooperation in multilateral meetings.

Following the signing of the MoU, the EMA and the EC will hold a virtual dialogue in the first half of 2021 (1H21) to discuss the challenges and impact of Covid-19 on the energy sector in both Singapore and Malaysia ... (click on link for full story on theedgesingapore.com).
