KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 4): Malaysia Airlines Bhd advised customers to make payments via CIMBclicks or other payment methods. The airline claimed that CIMB is experiencing a technical issue with its card payment system.
"Customers may refer to CIMB for further updates," Malaysia Airlines said in a statement on its website.
Meanwhile, Bloomberg quoting CIMB Group Holdings Bhd group chief executive officer Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, reported today that CIMB's system has not been hacked.
"All core banking system is business as usual," Tengku Zafrul was quoted as saying in a text message.
He was also quoted as saying CIMB ATMs and branches are functioning.
