KUALA LUMPUR: Maju Group announced that it is going to help Sri Lanka “transform” its public transportation infrastructure — and on a pro bono basis.

In a statement yesterday, the group said it had entered into a joint collaboration agreement with the Ministry of Transport of Sri Lanka in relation to that purpose. “The joint collaboration is based on a platform for technology transfer and shared experience and expertise,” the group said.

The group said it has been operating and managing the integrated transportation hub in Kuala Lumpur, with the objective of easing traffic congestion here.
