KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 10): Maju Group announced it is going to help Sri Lanka transform its public transportation infrastructure, and on a pro bono basis.

In a statement this evening, the group said it has entered into a joint collaboration agreement with the Ministry of Transport of Sri Lanka earlier today, in relation to that.

“The joint collaboration is based on a platform for technology transfer, and shared experience and expertise,” the group said.

The group said it has been operating and managing the Integrated Transportation Hub in Kuala Lumpur, with the objective of easing traffic congestion in Malaysia’s capital city.

The hub converges long-haul buses into a terminal which hosts multimodal means of transportation, such as urban and sub-urban trains, intra-city buses and taxis.
